LEARNING GOALS

Pursuing a formal education, in which a child’s progress is measured by academic marks, has long been perceived as the key to achieving a lifetime of success.

This way of thinking can be very unjust for children who are not considered academically gifted. Should a child’s intelligence and be judged entirely through formal academic measurements? Wouldn’t an alternative educational system that optimizes each child’s potential be more humane and more effective?

The Villa Football Academy 2000 offers a different kind of education. The students here obviously have a special intelligence: a bodily intelligence, as demonstrated by their exceptional athletic ability. Here, their individual potential, which cannot be accommodated in a conventional academic system, can be developed and handled properly. This kind of academy is not merely an instrument to create talented footballers, but rather an apparatus for society to humanize education for our future generation.
