Arif Hidayah atau dikenal juga sebagai “Danun” (Pikiran Rakyat, Bandung) lahir di Garut. Ia mulai menekuni jurnalistik foto sejak kuliah di Jurusan Jurnalistik Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Gunung Djati, Bandung. Tahun 2014, ia bergabung sebagai jurnalis foto di Harian Umum Pikiran Rakyat hingga saat ini. Di luar pekerjaan, ia gemar traveling. Danun pernah melakukan solo trekking mengelilingi pegunungan di Annapurna Circuit, Nepal, selama dua minggu.
Arif Hidayah (Pikiran Rakyat, Bandung) also known as Danun was born in Garut. He has been pursuing his career in journalistic photography since his college years as a student majoring in Journalism at Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Gunung Djati, Bandung. He joined Harian Umum Pikiran Rakyat in 2014 and has been their photojournalist ever since. Danun loves to travel in his spare time and had done a solo trekking around the mountains in Annapurna Circuit, Nepal, for two weeks.
Edy Ismail (Pewarta Foto Lepas, Jakarta) menunjukkan ketertarikannya pada bidang fotografi sejak masa kuliah. Ia mulai belajar fotografi saat bergabung dalam Wadah Kegiatan Mahasiswa (WKM) Telefikom Fotografi di kampusnya. Setelah lulus, ia bergabung dengan Galeri Foto Jurnalistik Antara angkatan 19. Karier fotografi jurnalistiknya dimulai di koran Jawa Pos selama satu tahun. Dalam dua tahun terakhir, Edy memutuskan menjadi fotografer lepas dan berkontribusi ke beberapa media luar maupun dalam negeri.
Edy Ismail (Freelance Photojournalist, Jakarta) has shown interest in photography ever since he was in college. He started learning photography when he was a member of Wadah Kegiatan Mahasiswa Telefikom Fotografi at his campus. After graduation, he joined Galeri Foto Jurnalistik Antara. Edy’s career in journalistic photography began at Jawa Pos newspaper for a year. In the last 2 years, Edy decided to be a freelance photographer and contributed to a few local or international media.
Hesti Rika Pratiwi (CNNIndonesia.com, Jakarta) lahir di Yogyakarta pada tahun 1991. Ia mengenal fotografi sejak 2009 saat melanjutkan pendidikan di Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI), Yogyakarta. Ia aktif mengikuti sejumlah pameran salah satunya pameran bertema ‘Jogja Tumbuh’. Saat pindah ke Jakarta, Hesti mengawali kariernya sebagai fotografer untuk perusahaan maskapai Batik Air. Namun hasratnya yang kuat di bidang jurnalistik membawanya bergabung ke CNNIndonesia.com pada tahun 2017. Isu mengenai identitas mempunyai keunikan tersendiri bagi Hesti sebagai jurnalis foto.
Hesti Rika Pratiwi (CNNIndonesia.com, Jakarta) was born in Yogyakarta in 1991. She has known photography since 2009 when she started her Bachelor’s degree at Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) or the Indonesian Institute for Fine Arts, Yogyakarta. She actively participates in many photography exhibitions, one of which is Jogja Tumbuh. After moving to Jakarta, Hesti started her career as a professional photographer for Batik Air. Her strong passion for journalism has brought her to CNNIndonsia.com in 2017. Issues related to identity have become her main focus as a photojournalist.
Muhammad Adimaja (Antara Foto, Jakarta) atau ‘Adicumi’ saat ini bekerja sebagai pewarta foto di kantor berita ANTARA. Selain meraih sejumlah penghargaan fotografi, Adicumi juga sering terlibat dalam beberapa pameran fotografi, di antaranya: ‘Kilas Balik ANTARA’, ‘Pameran Foto Dua Tahun Kinerja Presiden Jokowi’ di Museum Bank Mandiri, hingga mengikuti Festival Pasar Hamburg di Messehalle A2, Lagerstrasse, Jerman. Di tahun 2018, Adicumi meluncurkan buku foto pertamanya yang berjudul “SOUTH” di GueAri Galeri, Pasar Santa, Jakarta.
Muhammad Adimaja (Antara Foto, Jakarta) also known as “Adicumi”, currently works as a photojournalist for news agency ANTARA. With numerous photography awards under his belt, Adicumi has also been involved in various photography exhibitions, such as ‘Kilas Balik ANTARA’ and ‘Pameran Foto Dua Tahun Kinerja Presiden Jokowi’ at Bank Mandiri Museum. He also participated in Festival Pasar Hamburg in Messehalle A2, Lagerstrasse, Germany. In 2018, Adicumi published his first ever photo book, titled ‘SOUTH’, at GueAri gallery, Pasar Santa, Jakarta.
Muhammad Ali Wafa (VIVA.co.id, Jakarta) lahir di Jombang, Jawa Timur, pada tahun 1991. Lulusan Ilmu Politik UIN Syarief Hidayatullah Jakarta ini mulai belajar fotografi di UKM Fotografi Kalacitra dan saat magang di Antarafoto Jakarta. Saat ini ia bekerja di VIVA.co.id sebagai fotografer harian yang meliput berita Nasional, Metro dan Olahraga. Ia juga berpartisipasi di beberapa pameran seperti Matakita, AJI, UNICEF dan ‘Color of Jakarta 2016’.
Muhammad Ali Wafa (VIVA.co.id, Jakarta) was born in Jombang, East Java, in 1991. After he graduated from Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University majoring in political science, Ali started learning photography at Kalacitra student photography club and while doing an internship at Antarafoto Jakarta. Ali currently works at VIVA.co.id as a daily photographer for National, Metro, and Sports sections. He has also been participating in various exhibitions, such as Matakita, AJI, UNICEF, and ‘Color of Jakarta 2016’.
Rahmad Azhar Hutomo (National Geographic Indonesia, Jakarta) lahir di Yogyakarta. Azhar menyelesaikan program Ilmu Kearsipan di Universitas Gadjah Mada pada 2014. Ketertarikannya dengan dunia fotografi bermula dari rangkaian foto aksi para pemain skateboard di majalah Transworld Skateboarding yang membuatnya terkesima. Kamera pertamanya diperoleh saat menerima beasiswa di masa kuliah. Azhar kemudian melanjutkan ilmu fotografi di Kelas Pagi Yogyakarta dan memperdalamnya di Galeri Fotografi Jurnalistik Antara (GFJA) angkatan XXI tahun 2015. Sekarang Azhar bergabung bersama National Geographic Indonesia sebagai fotografer. Karya pertamanya yang bertajuk ‘Arkamaya’ (2015) menjadi bagian penting yang dipamerkan di Galeri Foto Jurnalistik Antara.
Rahmad Azhar Hutomo Hutomo (National Geographic Indonesia, Jakarta) was born in Yogyakarta. He finished his studies in Archive Management, Universitas Gajah Mada, in 2014. He started investing his interest in photography when he saw pictures of skateboarders in the Transworld Skateboarding magazine. He got his first camera when he received a scholarship during his university study. Azhar then continued learning more about photography at Kelas Pagi Yogyakarta and Antara Journalistic Photography Gallery (GFJA) in 2015. Now Azhar is one of the photographers in National Geographic Indonesia. His first work, titled Arkamaya (2015), is one of the most valuable pieces ever exhibited by Antara Journalistic Photography Gallery.
Reza Fitriyanto (Kontributor Kanal Beritagar.id, Yogyakarta) di Yogyakarta pada April 1990. Ia mengenal fotografi sejak 2008 saat bergabung di Kelompok Studi Mahasiswa Fotografi (KSM) UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta. Reza mengawali kariernya sebagai pewarta foto saat magang di Kantor Berita Antara Foto Jakarta pada 2011. Saat ini, ia bekerja sebagai kontributor foto dan video untuk kanal Beritagar.id.
Awalnya, Reza memandang fotografi sebagai tiket perjalanan menuju ke berbagai tempat yang diinginkannya. Namun kini ia melihat fotografi sebagai jendela untuk melihat dunia beserta manusia dan berbagai kisah hidupnya.
Reza Fitriyanto (Contributing Photographer at Beritagar.id, Yogyakarta) was born in Yogyakarta in April 1990. He has known photography since 2008 when he joined Kelompok Studi Mahasiswa Fotografi (KSM), or a student photography club, at UPN Veteran Yogyakarta. Reza started his career as a professional photographer when he became an intern at Berita Antara Foto Jakarta in 2011. Currently, he is a photo and video contributor at beritagar.id.
At first, Reza saw photography as a ticket to places he had always wanted to go. Now, he sees photography as a window to countless worlds and stories.
Zulkifli (Pewarta Foto Lepas, Padang) lahir di Kerinci dan mempelajari fotografi secara otodidak sejak tahun 2009. Saat ini ia bekerja sebagai fotografer dokumenter dan penulis lepas. Beberapa karyanya telah dipublikasikan oleh The Guardian, The Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Der Farang, DestinAsian Indonesia, dan National Geographic Traveler Indonesia. Zulkifli juga merupakan salah seorang pendiri Sore Rabu Project dan aktif di ruang diskusi fotografi di Sumatera Barat.
Zulkifli (Freelance Documentary Photographer, Padang) was born in Kerinci and studied self-taught photography since 2009. He currently works as a documentary photographer and freelance writer. Some of his works have been published by The Guardian, The Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Der Farang, DestinAsian Indonesia, and National Geographic Traveler Indonesia. Zulkifli is also one of the founders of Sore Rabu Project and active in the photography discussion forums in West Sumatra.
