Arggh… Buluk!!!

Arggh… Buluk!!!

The disappearance of Lukman Laksmana, or popularly known as Buluk Superglad, from the punk rock music scene took place in 2016. During my meeting with Buluk in mid-March 2022, he admitted that at the time he felt that his life was at its lowest point. Left by a loved one, separated from his only child, and the bankruptcy of several of his startups drove the Superglad and Kausa frontman to attempt suicide.

Yet fate belongs to The Higher Power. Despite his suicide attempt, he was given another chance in life. (Buluk made a comeback to
the entertainment industry, restarting his career from the bottom as an MC for Slank’s road show. He tried to start a fresh life chapter). But it turns out that getting a second chance is not enough to get him back on his feets.

I worked on Buluk’s Diary photo story between February to April 2022, before the Instagram account run by his creative team posted a notice about Buluk’s disappearance and alleged involvement in investment-related fraud on 13 May 2022. Responding to the subject’s development, I have renewed the story point of view and added photos from news coverage about this issue.
